Wounds UK are delighted to present an awards programme that recognises the outstanding achievements of those practitioners who are improving standards in wound prevention and management, via research, clinical audit and practice development in the UK. Wounds UK firmly believe that the work of these innovators should be recognised and rewarded.
 The Wounds UK Awards ceremony will take place on the 12th June 2009 at Tatton Park, Manchester. Awards in over 10 categories will be presented following a formal dinner with over 300 guests in attendance. Each award category will have three winners: two highly commended and one overall winner.
If you believe you or your colleagues have made an outstanding major contribution to the wound field in the UK, you can make a nomination by registering and submitting an application via this website.
The closing date for applications is the 31st March 2009, and all winners will be notified by the 30th April 2009.

2. Literature review
3. Research
4. Innovations in practice development
5. Patient involvement
